Welcome Dinner At the beginning of every academic year, Rebecca Burnett and William Jeffries invite all first-, second- and third-year Brittain Fellows, mentors, LMC faculty, and friends of the Writing and Communication Program — some 80 or so people — for a dinner at their home to welcome the new Brittain Fellows.

Tailgating The Stephen C. Hall Building is across the street the Georgia Tech’s 55,000-seat Bobby Dodd Stadium and, thus, the building’s terrace is a perfect location for tailgating. Periodically, the Rebecca Burnett, Director of the Writing and Communication Program, and Richard Utz, Chair of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication, host a tailgating celebration. The event provides an opportunity to showcase the WCP and LMC programs and let people see the building features. The photo shows Col. Stephen C. Hall (near the left) talking with students at a WCP/LMC Tailgating party.
